‘A Snake From the Start’: ‘The Trust: A Game of Greed’ Fans Slam Julie Theis for Stabbing Her Girlfriends

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, CARIBBEAN: “The Trust: A Game of Greed” Season 1 contestant Julie Theis competed on the Netflix show to win a whopping $250,000 cash prize. Julie and her classmates had to participate in several trust-based games to see who would stand at the end of the social experiment.

Midway through the game, Julie has seemingly found her forever partner, Jake Chocholous. Netflix show contestants Julie and Jake displayed perfect couple energy as they played strategic games together. Plus, Julie was clearly totally attracted to Jake and fed him all the information she got from his girl gang.

However, viewers slammed Julie for allegedly stabbing her friends. One social media user tweeted: “Why am I not surprised that Julie is giving information about the girls’ alliance to Jake…Lawd.”

Additionally, fans have seen the connection between Julie and Jake evolve over the first four episodes. The two also engaged in heated arguments, but they eventually overcame their differences.

Julie Theis eliminates Simone Stewart to save Jake Chocholous

Julie Theis’ love for Jake Chocholous led to the elimination of Simone Stewart. During the second trust ceremony, Mama Jay was angry with Jake and wanted him to leave the house. Julie wanted to save Jake and she voted for Simone Stewart.

She thought her decision could hopefully block Jay’s perceived vote against Jake. However, Jay shockingly voted for Simone, leading to her eviction. Julie was upset after Simone’s elimination and couldn’t help but feel extremely guilty.

Meanwhile, Jake’s shocking move left Julie devastated as he chose the name Brian Firebaugh after host Brooke Baldwin asked the contestants to choose the person they felt closest to.
