“AGT: Fantasy League”: Geneviève Côté is the first professional “noise maker” in a reality TV show

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Genevieve Cote is a professional noise artist who is on “AGT: Fantasy League” as a member of Howie Mandel’s team this year.

Originally from Laval, Quebec, Côté was always a curious child. She is the first “professional noise maker” to be a part of the “America’s Got Talent” franchise. His unique skills allowed him to reach the finals of “Canada’s Got Talent” and even earn a Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel.

She was also part of season 18 of “France’s Got Talent” and even there, she acquired a Golden Buzzer from host Karine Le Marchand. She is known for her appearances in “Sweeping Forward” (2014), “Appearances” (2012) and “Lesscenes fortuitous” (2018).

She is a 47-year-old single mother and a full-time comedian, host and noise maker. She left her job as a waitress to pursue her passion in the entertainment industry. She initially started as a stand-up comedian and posed as Celine Dion.

Cote was discovered in 2010 on YouTube with her video parodies of Lady Gaga, Lisa Leblanc and Gerald Tremblay. She then participated in the Just for Laughs festivals produced by Joël Legendre such as La Fureue and Le Show 100% Inimitable as well as in numerous shows across Quebec. And it was only then that she gained the confidence to perform on the “Got Talent” stage. It was a long wait and a long struggle for Cote, especially as a single mother, but she achieved everything she could.

From a young age, Cote took note of the noises and voices around her. Some of his biggest influences were Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, the Looney Tunes cartoons, and the comedy group Rock et Belles Oreilles. Her hobby of imitating sounds led her to pursue noise making professionally. She has performed at comedy festivals, theaters and even corporate events across Canada.

She even offers a one-woman show called L’Inimitable to showcase her talent. She takes the audience on an imaginative journey using her vocal talents. It can switch from animal sounds to movie sounds, ambient sounds and even instruments. His vocal range is enormous and ranges from helicopters to T-Rex screams. Judges often compare her to a stunning combination of Celine Dion and Quentin Tarantino.
