“AGT: Fantasy League’s Loren Allred Provided Vocals for Rebecca Ferguson in ‘The Greatest Showman’ Musical

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK: She was the voice behind one of the most recognizable movie soundtracks of the last decade, but no one knew her identity. Loren Allred was the voice behind one of the most successful film soundtracks for years until she emerged from the shadows on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2022 to reveal the face behind the jaw-dropping song breath.

Rebecca Ferguson played opera soprano Jenny Lind in “The Greatest Showman,” wowing audiences with the song “Never Enough” from the film, even though she didn’t perform it. She had a musical background, having studied many types of dance and attended Adolf Fredrik’s music school, but she was not completely confident in her singing voice.

Rebecca didn’t hesitate to do so, admitting that if she had made a mistake she would have been mortified.

Loren, who was previously part of Adam Levine’s team on “The Voice,” provides vocals in the song “Never Enough.” Loren also spoke about his experience on “The Greatest Showman,” telling DeseretNews that his collaboration with Rebecca was “a perfect match” since “no one could have played this role as well as Rebecca.”

Loren has additional musical experience, in addition to performing the song “Never Enough” from “The Greatest Showman”. She has appeared on various television programs, including A Capitol Fourth, a PBS presentation commemorating the Fourth of July.

Another major TV show she was featured in was the 2018 Academy Awards, when she sang in the choir for “This is Me.” Finally, Loren sang in the ensemble choir for the film “Dear Evan Hansen” in 2021.

Loren, from Brooklyn, New York, spoke on “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League” about growing up with both of her parents as music teachers. According to an interview with the New York Post in April 2023, she is the eldest of three daughters and was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She has credited Mariah Carey and her father as musical inspirations. Outside of the Got Talent stage, the 34-year-old artist has received praise from critics around the world, including Variety, Hollywood Life and award-winning musician Michael Bublé, according to Loren’s website.

Since her voice was used on the Grammy Award-winning soundtrack to The Greatest Showman, she has collaborated with several prominent names in the music industry, including a duet with Michael in 2019 for his album Help Me Make It Through the Night.

Loren has taken his music on tour alongside Andrea Bocelli and David Foster, as seen on his Instagram profile. She also performs original music and is currently promoting the single “I Hear Your Voice” from her 2023 six-track EP of the same name.

Loren Allred missed out on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’

It was this idea that made the Brooklyn, New York, native decide to compete on “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2022. Judge Amanda Holden awarded Loren the Golden Buzzer after she gave a captivating rendition of “Never Enough » who applauded the public and the judges. .

On “Britain’s Got Talent”, Loren sang her own song, “Last Thing I’ll Ever Need”, and advanced to the final. She placed ninth in the competition despite her impressive performance, which did not earn her the top prize.

Loren’s popularity in reality competitions extends beyond “Britain’s Got Talent.” She also appeared on “The Voice” in 2012, joining coach Adam Levine’s team.

Loren’s life continues to revolve around music. Earlier in 2023, she released her new EP, I Hear Your Voice, named after the title track.

She wrote the song to commemorate her grandmother. Some voice messages (sent by her grandmother expressing her pride in her) were also used in the song’s music video as a “perfect tribute to my grandmother”, Loren explained.

Loren was also one of the singers who took part in music pioneer David Foster’s Hitman tour of Asia in August. Loren also revealed in 2023 that she was the “musical guest” at the Andrea Bocelli Foundation Founders’ Dinner, calling it a “magical evening.”

Loren Allred Joins Team Simon for ‘AGT: Fantasy League’

Loren, a Brooklyn-based singer and member of judge Simon Cowell’s Dream Team, thought it was time to come out of the shadows and show the world who she really was. Loren, who took to the “AGT” stage for the first time in Fantasy League, said she was “over the moon” to reveal to judges Mel B, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum that she was the real voice behind the popular song. “Never Enough” from the 2017 blockbuster “The Greatest Showman.”

The former ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ contestant told the ‘AGT: Fantasy League’ judges that she was a 24-year-old waitress when she first met the songwriters of ‘The Greatest Showman’ and that she was invited to record a demo.

She then found out that they had chosen to have the film’s actress sing Loren’s voice, although Loren was “so excited” to have her voice in the Oscar-nominated film.

Loren stunned judges and viewers with her exceptional vocal range as she performed an “updated” rendition of “Never Enough,” which brought Mel B to her feet. Simon had no hesitation in including Loren on his team, calling her performance “honestly spectacular.”
