Britain’s Liz Truss government took a U-turn on the decision to cut tax, the government bowed to pressure

There was widespread opposition to the Liz Truss government’s announcement of 10 days ago to give relief from the high rate of income tax to the high-income sections in Britain. Members of Parliament of the ruling Conservative Party were not happy with this and they were continuously pressurizing to withdraw it.
