Champions League action returns to Copenhagen on Tuesday, February 13, with Manchester City and RB Leipzig hosting Real Madrid at the Paramount+. With the group stage coming to an end in December, it’s a good time to re-rank the remaining last 16 teams on how likely they are to win the entire tournament based on current form. It’s only fitting that the top two teams in the rankings, Manchester City and Real Madrid, mark the return of the UCL but which other teams highlight Europe’s best?

Check out the UCL rankings below:

Manchester City Manchester City entering the Round of 16 at full health for the first time this season is a scary proposition for the rest of the world. Having already won the competition last season, City are expected to reach the final again, although they will have a tough road to get there.
Real Madrid As injuries continue to pile up, Carlo Ancelotti has kept Real Madrid going. Defensively, it remains to be seen whether they can get past teams like PSG and Manchester City, but Real Madrid’s attack is as close as any in the world.
Arsenal Showing they are back with the world’s top teams, Arsenal are a team that could make a run at the Champions League final if things break right. With a strong backbone leading the team, their luck may fall on David Raya in the nets.
Bayern Munich Bayern are a tough team to judge. With Harry Kane, the attack can be terrifying but sometimes it doesn’t add up to produce the amount of production expected from their talented halves. Thomas Tuchel knows a thing or two about putting together a Champions League run so Bayern can turn it on.
inside After making the Champions League final last season, Inter are showing they are in power through Lautaro Martinez. He may only have two Champions League goals so far, but that will quickly change in the knockout stages.
Barcelona With Xavi set to step down at the end of the season and Barcelona struggling away from home, it would be a shock if they make a run at the Champions League but stranger things have happened.
Atl├ętico Madrid This could be the best chance for Atletico Madrid to win the Champions League in the near future. Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata are in top form, Memphis Depay is healthy and Samuel Lino is one of the most exciting wing backs in the world.
Paris Saint-Germain PSG should probably be higher in this ranking but it’s hard to believe they’ll win the Champions League until they actually do. Kylian Mbappe’s uncertain future is a cloud hanging over the team.
Real Sociedad Having struggled a bit of late, drawing three of their last five matches, Sociedad’s attack is the main question mark now that they are in the last 16. Having scored the joint-fewest Champions League goals of any team to finish in the round of 16 with seven, they could be eliminated if Sociedad go down early.
Borussia Dortmund Following Jadon Sancho’s return to Dortmund, their league form is now catching up with their Champions League form as the Black and Yellows have moved into the top four in Germany. They will give teams some trouble in the knockouts.
Porto Both have been crucial to Pepe Porto’s performances as this team only knows how to make the UCL last 16. Paired with Arsenal, they will need some luck or their run could end here.
PSV Still undefeated in league play, PSV vs. Dortmund have one of the most exciting ties in the Round of 16. Even though PSV may not emerge victorious, coming here is a strong sign for soccer in the Netherlands.
RB Leipzig Lois Openda has been superb for Leipzig with four Champions League goals but the wheels have fallen in league play with just one win in their last five matches.
Lazio A hard team to judge, it is difficult to understand how Lazio got here but facing Bayern, they will need serious support to progress further.
Napoli From the Scudetto winners to the last 16 considered to be one of the worst teams in the Champions League. How the mighty have fallen as this season has been full of disappointments for Napoli.
Copenhagen Copenhagen have done a great job to get here and their reward is a matchup with Manchester City. Life can be cruel sometimes.
