What is Dingle Dangle?

The Dingle Dangle can also be described as the “ultimate parenting hack”. This is a headband toy that looks a lot like a colorful octopus mobile worn on the head by the parent. The headband toy automatically attracts the baby’s attention, while the parent can quickly change the diaper.

The design of this product was inspired by the Art Deco style of Gold’s hometown of Miami Beach, Florida. It has many uses as it provides relief and ease during difficult parenting moments such as changing diapers, playing or putting the child to sleep.

The item can transform into a small mobile that can be attached to a crib, with a cute pufferfish design and a silicone teether. The toy features a sensory stick made of three different fabrics that babies can touch and play with, giving them a complete and interactive experience. It must be said that this is an innovative solution for parents.

Who is the founder of Dingle Dangle?

Stewart Gold and Mark Hamilton are the founders of Dingle Dangle. The idea for Dingle Dangle came from a moment of parental frustration. One day in 2018, Mark was changing his 7-month-old daughter’s diaper in a public restroom at the airport in Tenerife, Spain, and it was a heartbreaking experience for him.

While Hamilton was trying to change his daughter’s diaper, her daughter kept screaming at the top of her lungs. Next, he needed something to calm his little girl. He realized there had to be a better way to do this.

Mark, owner of a technology investment banking headhunting company, decided to turn his stressful experience into an enjoyable one, which led to the creation of Dingle Dangle.

For Dingle Dangle, Mark teamed up with father-of-two Stewart Gold. Gold is an American citizen who lives in an apartment directly above Mark’s. Before that, Stewart was a lawyer for a total of 11 years.

When Mark shared the idea for Dingle Dangle with Stewart, he was rather intrigued, especially because his wife was expecting their second child at the time. Dingle Dangle is not just a distraction for children, but rather a versatile parenting tool.
