LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Season 2 of “House of the Dragon” began streaming June 16, 2024, on HBO, and if the first three episodes are anything to go by, we’re in for an exciting season of “Game of Thrones “. prequel series as we begin to build towards some of the most action-packed, high-octane fight sequences.

“House of the Dragon” is based on “Fire and Blood” by George RR Martin, and among the battles intended to take place in the series if the chronology of the book is followed is the Battle Above the Gods eye.

The makers have been slowly building to the battle, which will be a major event in the Dance of the Dragons and will cause significant damage to both the Greens and the Blacks. That’s all about the fight.

Battle Above the Gods Eye is a battle that takes place between Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell) and Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) when they clash together with their dragons Vhagar and Caraxes.

Vhagar is the largest dragon in the Seven Kingdoms and Caraxes is among the fiercest dragons in the Seven Kingdoms and perhaps the only Dragon that can take on Vhagar.

Daemon Targaryen is a fierce battle-tested warrior who has fought many battles in his time and Aemond is brave and unpredictable and in some ways similar to his uncle Daemon.

Battle Above the Gods Eye is expected to take place either late in Season 3 or Season 4 when the battle takes place after the Fall of King’s Landing to Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy).

Because Aemond goes on a Harrenhall burning spree after King’s Landing falls. Demon challenges Aemond who arrives on the fourteenth day with Alys Rivers (Gayle Rankin), who is his lover at that time.

While the battle is still in the distance, there are breadcrumbs to be seen in Season 2 as Daemon tries to kill Aemond during Blood and Cheese and Aemond appreciates the fact that Daemon doesn’t do it directly.

Alys Rivers was also presented in Episode 3 when she predicted the death of Daemon in Harrenhall.

Both Aemond and Daemon and their dragons are killed in the battle and neither gets a decisive victory in the battle. The battle takes its name from the river Gods Eye in Harrenhall and the prediction made by Alys Rivers about Daemon’s death comes true.

A demon leaps from his dragon and thrusts Valyrian Steel through Aemond’s empty eye socket as both fall to the ground. Vhagar and Caraxes both fell into the sea and caused a huge splash of water as both the iconic dragons died.

Daemon’s body has never been found but it was believed that he could not have survived the fall. Some believed, however, that he survived and spent the rest of his life with a lover named Nettles.
