The 81st Golden Globes kicked off with a bang as celebrities attended the glitzy event on a Sunday evening, January 7, 2024.

This year’s red carpet saw celebrities showcase some of the hottest looks, while sending fans into a frenzy.

Ludwig Goransson attended the 2024 Golden Globes because he was nominated for “Best Original Score” for the film Oppenheimer and he also won the award.

However, fans seemed more fascinated by his uncanny similarity to none other than Jared Leto.

Who is Ludwig Goransson?

Born September 1, 1984, Ludwig Emil Tomas Goransson is a Swedish composer, conductor, songwriter and even record producer.

He is known for composing music for films like “Black Panther”, “Creed films”, “The Mandalorian”, “New Girl Community” and “Oppenheimer”.

Goransson was married to Serena McKinney in 2018 and even has a son.

Goransson won an Oscar in 2019 for “Best Musical Achievement Written for a Motion Picture (Original Score)” for “Black Panther.”

He won the 2024 Golden Globes award for “Best Original Score” for the film Oppenheimer.

In 2023 he received the Litteris at Aribus Medal from the King and Queen of Sweden.

This is a Swedish royal medal awarded to people who have made significant contributions to culture, particularly music, art and literature.

Jared Leto mocks his reputation as a method actor

Jared Leto joined Angela Bassett as a presenter at the 2024 Golden Globes awards ceremony.

Jared took a moment to poke fun at his status as a popular method actor in Hollywood.

He also announced the year’s categories for Best Supporting Actress and Best Actor in a Motion Picture.

The winners were Da’ Vine Joy Randolph for “The Holdovers” and Robert Downey Jr for “Oppenheimer”, respectively.

He told the audience: “I’ve been in presenter mode for weeks now and have been doing research to develop my character, constantly reminding everyone to please call me by my character’s name, dammit .”

Basset asked, “You mean Jared Leto?”

To which Jared replied, “Exactly! I also learned the art of holding an envelope.”

Jared Leto’s method stories are well documented. For example, he lost 40 pounds for his Oscar-winning role in “Dallas Buyers Club.”
