The second scenario is the prestigious inner circle of an Ivy League law school, where future leaders and legal minds are formed. The novel revolves around a complicated family with a rich history and many hidden secrets.

Although the death is initially ruled a heart attack, Talcott soon discovers clues that indicate foul play.

He learns of his father’s complex relationships with various political and criminal figures, revealing a web of deception and manipulation.
