Super Bowl 2024 halftime show: Predicting special guests who could join Usher, from her to Alicia Keys

The Super Bowl halftime show is historically the most-watched musical performance of the year. this year, Global superstar singer Usher will perform After two quarters of action between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.

Usher has sold over 80 million records in his career, had nine No. 1 singles and won countless awards.

The Grammy winner will undoubtedly bring excitement and top-notch entertainment when she takes the stage, but the big question is: will she only Take a stage?

In the past, several halftime performers have brought out surprise guests for the event, but two of the last three have gone solo.

Last year, Rihanna took the stage alone. While she didn’t have any musical surprise guests, her surprise during the performance revealed that she was expecting her second child.

According to TMZ, Alicia Keys will be a surprise guest for the halftime show. Usher and Keys previously collaborated on the 2004 hit “My Boo,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Keys has a relationship with Jay-Z, whose label Roc Nation produces the halftime show.

Usher has collaborated with singers across multiple genres in the music industry, so it’s no surprise that he would choose someone he’s worked with before.

Usher reportedly reached out to Justin Bieber for the halftime show, per TMZ. Until recently, Bieber took time off from performing. No word on whether Bieber has responded to the request.

Some halftime performers choose to bring out multiple special guests, so while Keys is expected to take the stage with the report, other guests can’t be ruled out.

Usher’s most popular song is “Yes!” Featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris, two artists that he could potentially bring out. “Yah!” was released in 2004 and was the longest-running No. 1 single of that year. The trio also performed “Lovers and Friends,” which peaked at No. 8 on the chart.

Pitbull is a possible special guest and collaborates with Usher on “DJs Got Us Fallin’ In Love”. Young Jeezy is featured on “Love In This Club,” so that’s another one to look out for.

Usher has a collaboration with BeyoncĂ©, and while she’s married to the rapper, she’s in a relationship with Jay-Z, an even more unlikely choice as a surprise guest. Beyonce has already performed at the Super Bowl twice and I don’t think this is the year she’s going to come out for her third performance.

Usher has an album dropping just days before the Super Bowl, so he could include some collaborations from his new songs. “Standing Next to You” is listed as a track on the Coming Home album, a remix of a song by BTS member Jungkook. They could make history by bringing out the first K-Pop artist to perform at the Super Bowl.

The first singles from the album were “Good Good” featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage and “Risk It All”, her second track. Those three artists may come out to release new songs and promote her album.

Since 2010, Six artists have taken the halftime show stage solowhile others are accompanied by other musicians.

The halftime show, as well as the game, will be broadcast on CBS, with family-friendly broadcasts on Nickelodeon and streaming on Paramount+.
