Super Bowl halftime performer Usher and longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goecochea get marriage license in Las Vegas

It looks like Usher will be taking home a ring of his own after headlining the Super Bowl 2024 halftime show.

“Yes!” The singer and his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Goicochea, obtained a marriage license in Clark County, Nev., on Feb. 8, Page Six can confirm.

The Daily Mail reports that the couple will tie the knot in Las Vegas after the big game.

The R&B hitmaker — who has reportedly been dating the music executive since 2019 — decided to take their relationship to the next level after seeking advice from their spiritual director, Amba Kahli Su, per the outlet.

Usher, 45, and Goikochea, 39, confirmed their romance in October 2019 when the Epic Records executive shared a photo of the two kissing at the Hollywood Bowl.

Within a year, it was revealed that the couple was expecting their first child in September 2020, when Goicochea was spotted with a bump while out with the Grammy winner in West Hollywood, California.

That same month, they welcomed their daughter, Sovereign, now 3 years old.

“We feel blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond. ‘Isn’t She lovely’ by Stevie Wonder on repeat ❤️ ❤️ ❤️, Usher wrote on Instagram at the time.

The two quickly expanded their family when Goicochea gave birth to their son, Sire Castrello Raymond, in November 2021 after showing off her bump on the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet months earlier.

Usher — whose full name is Usher Raymond IV — also shares sons Asher V, 16, and Navid, 15, with his first ex-wife, Tamaka Foster.

The couple was married for two years before divorcing in 2009. The “Love In This Club” singer later moved on with Grace Miguel.

Usher and Miguel started dating in 2009 and later got married in 2015.

However, the music superstar filed for divorce from his second ex-wife in 2018, nine months after announcing their split.

“We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue to support each other through the next phase of our lives,” they wrote in a statement to US Weekly at the time. “The love and respect we have for each other is the only way we can move forward.”
