Teresa Giudice Shares What Caused Larsa Pippen’s Photoshop Fail: ‘I Messed Up’

Teresa Giudice has admitted she posted a horribly edited picture of herself with Larsa Pippen as she was “getting ready” to put together a tribute to her friend.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star reflected on the now-viral Photoshop fail during an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark” on Tuesday.

“Did you make it look like Photoshop on purpose?” Kelly Ripa asked Giudice.

“Well, it was her birthday,” the Bravolebrity, 52, explained of Pippen, adding that she was “going around” to find a cute photo with the “Real Housewives of Miami” star, 50, to share online.

“I was like, ‘Oh my God, it’s her birthday.’ I have to post a picture for her,’” she continued. “We’re really close.”

Giudice said she could only find one good photo with Pippen; however, she didn’t like where it was originally taken.

“That was the only picture I came across,” she noted. “I said, ‘Oh great, summer!’ I just didn’t like the background.”

And so the cookbook author decided to seek help from her social media manager.

“I called my assistant/social media person, and she said, ‘I’m in Mexico.’ And I’m like, ‘Perfect, take a picture of the beach! That’s perfect, we’re in bikinis! Put it that way,'” she said.

Giudice assured Ripa that the photo was an “actual photo” with Pippen but that they were just “in a different place.”

“We’re in Mexico — and now we’re all over the world,” she joked.

The “House of Villains” contestant was mercilessly roasted for posting the doctored picture with the “Traitor” alum on Saturday.

“Happy birthday to my girl @larsapippen wishing you all the best to come. Love you,” Giudice captioned the photo, in which she and Pippen wore swimsuits.

Fans were quick to notice that they were clearly Photoshopped to look like they were standing on a white sand beach.

“Photoshop nightmare. So embarrassing,” someone commented on the post at the time, with another calling the rant “failed.”

“This has got to be the worst Photoshop I’ve ever seen,” added a third follower.

Trolls were quick to make memes inspired by the gaffe by Photoshopping the two ladies in front of different landmarks such as the Great Wall of China, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the pyramids in Egypt and Buckingham Palace in London.

Giudice laughed off the furor soon after, telling her Instagram followers that she “Loves all the comments lol.”

She also re-posted some of the memes to her Instagram Story, showing that she approved of the playful jabs.

Pippen, for his part, also seemed unfazed by the photo fiasco, commenting on Giudice’s post, “Love you so much.”

The former WAG celebrated her 50th birthday with a lavish night out in Miami on Saturday.
