LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: “The Acolyte” Episode 7 aired on Disney+ on July 9, 2024. The episode delved into the interesting past of the Jedi Masters who were on Brendok and provided insight into the actions of Master Sol (Lee Jung-). jae) and his fault for what happened on the planet.

As we got deeper into the episode, we learned that the Jedi’s real goal was to study Force Vergence on Brendok and that they wanted to study Mae and Osha (Amandla Stenberg), who had a high M-count and were very Force-sensitive. .

The witches resisted the action of the Jedi and a full war broke out between the witches and the Jedi when Master Sol stabbed Mother Aniseya (Jodie Turner-Smith). The witches are masters of mind control and to face Torbin (Dean-Charles Chapman) and Master Sun, they controlled the mind of the Wookiee Jedi Kelnacca (Joonas Suotamo) who unleashed his rage on Sun and Torbin.

Kelnacca was able to easily overpower the two experienced Jedi Sol and Torbin and ended up hurting Torbing significantly. Earlier in the episode, Master Indara (Carrie-Anne Moss) asks Torbin not to upset Kelnacca and we experience Kelancca’s rage.

Kelnacca was finally controlled by Master Indara who controlled his mind and knocked the witches out with her control of the Force and mind control. That was the only way they could have avoided the Wookiee Jedi as it was apparently impossible to overpower him physically.

Kelnacca’s prowess was shown earlier in Episode 2 when he accidentally walked through the dangerous forests of Khofar before he was finally found dead.

16 years after the events of Brendok, Kelnacca lived a lonely life away from the Jedi Temple and spent his days in the deep forests of Khofar. When Mae comes to kill him to avenge Brendok, she has a change of heart because she realizes that her sister Osha is alive. She captures her accomplice Qimir (Manny Jacinto), who is persistent in convincing her to kill Kelnacca.

She eventually finds Kelnacca dead though when her hooded master arrives and kills Kelnacca along with a few other Jedi. The masked master is revealed to be none other than Qimir himself who pretended to be her accomplice.

The death of Kelnacca did not go well with the fans of the series who wanted to see more of the Wookie Jedi but his return in a flashback sequence in Episode 7 gave them some rest.
