“The Bachelor” Season 21: Who is Brett Harris? An ex-footballer looks close to home for marital inspiration

MANHEIM, PENNSYLVANIA: The upcoming season of ‘The Bachelorette’ will feature an Adams County resident, the network revealed. ABC said that Brett Harris, 28, of Manheim, Lancaster County, would be among the contestants looking for love in Season 21 of the hit TV show in a post announcing next season’s contestants.

On June 3, the show’s Facebook page gave him an introduction, stating that he works as a “health and safety manager.”

Brett’s photo has received hundreds of comments along with over a few thousand likes since it was posted. According to his official profile, Brett is a “small town boy” with “big dreams”.

Brett is just one of the many contenders after Jenn Tran, this season’s Bachelorette.

Brett exudes a great deal of enthusiasm, confidence, and personality. He is an extroverted man with a sensitive spirit, yet he loves to be the light of the party and will not refuse anyone who challenges him to a dance-off.

Brett can perform splits and will do so when instructed. Even though Brett has never traveled abroad, he still aspires to go on adventures abroad in the future. After graduating from Fairfield High School in Adams County in 2014, Brett played football in both his high school and college years at Millersville University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 2018.

In 2017, this Ville football alumnus, ’18, started on the offensive line in all 11 games. In his high school career, Brett was selected to the All-YAIAA First Team in three different seasons: 2012, 2013, and 2012, as a defensive tackle.

He was also selected for the All-YAIAA First Team as a guard. In addition, he had a 69-21 career record in wrestling and finished sixth in the state tournament.

He was redshirted in 2014, his first year in the program. He switched from the offensive line to the defensive line in six games in 2015 in an attempt to provide depth.

One tackle was also made by him against Bloomsburg. Aside from the Cheyney game, Brett participated in ten of eleven games in 2016 and started all ten of them playing guard.

Who is “The Bachelor” in Season 21?

According to her ABC bio, Jenn is “currently studying to become a physician assistant.” She is a Miami resident.

When Joey Graziadei’s season of “The Bachelor” aired back in February 2024, Jenn gave an explanation on social media about how she managed to appear on the show while studying to become a medical assistant. She revealed that her academic advisor was “very supportive” of her travel and that she needed permission from her school.

Jenn described the operation of her 2.5-year advanced didactic curriculum. Jenn would often return to the classroom for the last half year of the program.

She has been forced to miss rotations since joining “The Bachelor.” Before she can graduate, she will have to complete the two rotations she missed.

Jenn reiterated in June 2024 that she did not drop out of school, even though she took extra time to film “The Bachelorette.” She had to postpone her initial plan to complete her crisis rotation, which was the rotation she was in the middle of before leaving for “The Bachelor.”

Jenn is originally from Hillsdale, New Jersey. The 26-year-old’s parents were born in Vietnam and moved to the United States.

As previously stated, Jenn currently resides in Miami, Florida. After graduating from college, she briefly lived in Boston, Massachusetts.

Jenn enjoys reading, paddle boarding and traveling in her spare time. Jenn attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and will graduate in 2021. She has a degree in molecular biology.

On July 8 at 8 pm ET, ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 21 will return to its regular Monday time slot on ABC. After that, new episodes will be released once a week
