Tom Brady praises Gisele Bündchen and Bridget Moynahan on Mother’s Day after Netflix roast

Tom Brady praised exes Gisele Bündchen and Bridget Moynahan on Mother’s Day – a week after they were the targets of several cruel jokes during his Netflix roast.

The retired NFL star shared a series of photos of his own mom celebrating the holiday via Instagram on Sunday, but rounded out the post with pictures of both Moynahan and Bündchen, with whom he shares his children.

“Happy Mother’s Day to these kind, caring, compassionate and POWERFUL moms that I am lucky to have in my life. None of this would be possible without your love ❤️❤️❤️,” he captioned the post.

Neither Moynahan, 53, nor Bündchen, 43, commented on the post, but Bündchen took to her own social media to pay tribute to her late mom.

“It’s still hard to say ‘mom’ without getting emotional. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss my Mom. My mother, was a wonderful person who always helped everyone around her. She was an incredible role model for my sisters and me. She was strong, loving and compassionate,” she wrote in part of the emotional post.

Shortly after Brady, 46, posted the photos, many social media users applauded him for his inclusive upload and for keeping it “classy”.

“Tom, you are setting a great example for your children by showing respect to their Mother when you didn’t have to!! Great QB, great man!!!! ” one person wrote.

“😭 yes you are a better man than me,” someone commented.

“This is why I love Tom Brady so much. He honors everyone, past and present!” another user raved.

Brady and Moynahan welcomed son Jack, now 16, in 2007 after the athlete broke up with her and moved on with Bündchen.

The former Patriots quarterback later married the supermodel three years later, and the two will continue to co-parent Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, since their divorce in October 2022.

Both of his splits were the butt of several jokes during the “Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady” last week. Fellow celebrities and comedians teased Brady about dumping Moynahan while pregnant, his divorce and Bündchen dating her jiu-jitsu instructor.

A source told Page Six that Bündchen was hurt by the jokes because he was “again putting football before his family.”

Another insider told People that she was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday night’s roast show.”

“As always, [Bündchen’s] priority is to support her children who have been affected by the irresponsible content that has been broadcast,” the source said.

Neither Bündchen nor Moynahan have publicly addressed the roast, but Moynahan has been sharing cryptic quotes on Instagram over the last week.
