Who is Praveen Prajapat? “AGT” Season 19 has a “head” for talent

ALWAR, RAJASTHAN: Praveen Prajapat, a talented main balancer from India, is all set to showcase his talent in ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 19. He previously participated in ‘India’s Got Talent’ Season 9 in 2022.

Praveen comes from a family with a rich tradition of folk artists. Born in Rajasthan in 2005, he learned the art of Matka Bhawai dance, rand Bhawai dance, and Chakka Bhawai dance from his father, Banay Singh Prajapat, and Cholelal, both renowned international folk artists.

Despite his young age, Praveen has already made a name for himself in the world of traditional dance. After completing his tenth standard education in Alwar, Praveen now devotes his time to performing with his father’s folk group.

His talent has been recognized and awarded at various events, including the Jashne Bachpan International Children’s Theater Festival at the National School of Drama in New Delhi.

Praveen received many accolades in Rajasthan and was also felicitated at the Rangotsav Festival in Mathura. With a promising future ahead of him in the vibrant world of Rajasthan’s traditional folk dance, Praveen Prajapat is a name to watch out for.

Did “AGT” Season 19 contestant Praveen Prajapat win “India’s Got Talent” Season 9?

Praveen Prajapat participated in the ninth season of “India’s Got Talent” but did not win. However, he impressed judges Kirron Kher, Shilpa Shetty, and Badshah. Shilpa was particularly impressed with his head shaking skills and even joined him on stage to balance a pot on her head.

Flute & beat-box duo, Divyansh & Manuraj, took home the coveted title of winners for that season, meanwhile Ishita Vishwakarma and Bomb Fire Crew secured the positions of runner-up and second runner-up, respectively.

For those who may not know, “India’s Got Talent” is a popular Indian talent show series that is broadcast in Hindi and is part of the internationally acclaimed Got Talent franchise. The show first aired on June 27, 2009 and has been a successful and entertaining platform for showcasing diverse talents ever since.

While most people struggle for even one cylinder, Praveen made it look easy as he deftly balanced the cylinders using two glass cups. The viral video showcases his impressive talent as he confidently wears the top hats on his head, even adding some dance moves to further showcase his skills.
