‘Sailing Sunset’ star Christine’s husband Christian Richard arrested in bathrobe for assault
Los Angeles, California: ‘Sailing Sunset’ star Kristin Quinn’s husband, Christian Richard, was recently arrested on their $5 million Los Angeles mansion.
According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Jail records, Christian Richard Dumontet was arrested on a felony charge Tuesday around 2 p.m. He was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department about four hours later. The 45-year-old was being held in custody on $30,000 bond. Images have emerged of Christine Quinn’s husband, Christian Richard Dumontet, being taken into custody in handcuffs. She was barefoot and wearing a bathing suit at the time of the incident.
Although police have not released the names of the victims, Christine and Christian are a married couple with a two-year-old son named Christian Georges Dumontet. Christian allegedly went to the ER with her son in an ambulance from the scene of the arrest, and she has filed for a restraining order against Christian to ensure her and her son’s safety.
According to the LAPD, as reported by Page Six, “The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, narrowly missing the target but striking and injuring the victim’s child. The child received treatment from paramedics at the scene but did not require hospitalization.”

How did ‘Sailing Sunset’ star Christine Quinn meet her husband Christian Richard?
After the first season of ‘Sailing Sunset’, Christine Quinn and Christian Richard Dumontet were introduced by a mutual friend, not initially in a real estate context. Quinn’s friend mentioned that Dumontet was looking for a house, and if things didn’t work out romantically, Quinn could still help him with real estate. However, their connection goes beyond real estate. Dumontet recalls falling deeply in love early on. Their instant bond and banter was evident even during their first meeting in the car.
Before getting involved in real estate, Dumontet worked as a software engineer for six years, beginning in 2001, at Cisco in Boston. He later co-founded Foodler, an online food-ordering service based in Boston. In 2017, Foodler was acquired by Grubhub, marking a successful career move for Dumontet, who was able to retire early. After retiring, he took some time to travel before meeting Quinn in 2019.

The unique show was featured in Season 3 of the Netflix reality show ‘Sailing Sunset’. The Queen opted for a custom black Galia Lahav Couture gown and striking ruby-red Christian Louboutins, a departure from traditional wedding attire.
During the reception, Dumontet expressed his admiration for his wife, highlighting how they complement each other and are building a wonderful life together. Quinn echoed these sentiments, emphasizing their shared creativity, drive, entrepreneurship and rebellious spirit.
